The experience starts early, at around 05:00 am or earlier, but we will contact you in the evening before your flight to confirm the exact time. We follow the Sun and we try to be airborne just before dawn, hence the early start. Of course, dawn is at different times as the months’ progress so we will meet a little later in the middle of Winter. Once we meet and after a quick check-in, you will jump into our vehicles and we will drive you to the launch site we will use that day. We have many locations we use to take-off, always depending on the wind direction on the day. In case you don’t know, hot air balloons just float, so we simply drift in the breeze. We tend to “fly-in” to the valley so we will drive upwind to take off. Ballooning is a hands-on experience and there are simple tasks for those who’d like to participate in setting the balloon up for the flight and there is certainly a job for everyone when we need to pack the balloon away after we have landed!. The flight itself will last about one hour and your pilot will use the winds at different heights to navigate to the most appropriate landing site. At the end of it all, we will drive back to Northam for a well-deserved breakfast.

What do I need to wear to go ballooning
The simple answer is to dress for an outdoor activity. Be PRACTICAL in every sense.
Avoid expensive clothes and whites if possible.
Above everything else, be practical with what you wear on your feet.
Sturdy shoes, boots are best but runners generally are ok as well. Wear socks, avoid city flats and above all else, no high heels, please!
What happens if the weather is no good for my balloon flight?
The pilot will decide not to fly if the conditions are not suitable. This can be because it is either too windy, too unstable or because of low clouds or rain. Balloon flights are cancelled quite often and it is best to have some flexibility if at all possible. If your flight is booked you can easily reschedule for another day of your choice

Children older than 6 can fly.
13 years and older are considered adults, the same as with airlines.
Children older than 6 can fly. Children, in ballooning, means small people aged between 6 and 12 years of age.
How to use
After the booking is comfirmed you will receive an email with attachment. Please check the details on the voucher. On the day of tour, please take the voucher to the meeting point by yourself.

From our meeting point inside the Farmers Home Hotel, in the township of Northam, you will jump into our vehicles and we will drive you to our launch site.This can vary depending on the wind direction on the day of your flight.
We fly at dawn, so we meet an hour before first light to have us all in the air and ready to greet those first morning rays, which is also the safest moment of the day to go ballooning.
Less Abled Passengers: The Operator recommends that less-able persons seek medical advice before participating in a balloon flight. As stated above the Passenger must be able to climb in and out of the basket in order to participate in the balloon flight. Passengers participating in the balloon flight do so at the own risk and the Operator accepts no liability for any damage or injury caused.
Pregnant Persons: The Operator recommends that pregnant persons do not fly in a hot air balloon and we will not carry passengers who are over 12 weeks pregnant.Passengers who suspect they may be pregnant should check with their doctor before travel.
Scuba Diving: The Operator will not carry passengers who have participated in a scuba dive the within 24 hours before their balloon flight. Passengers diving the day before travel should check with a qualified dive master as to the safety of the passenger in participating in the balloon flight. Passengers diving the day before travel who participate in the balloon journey do so at their own risk and the Operator accepts no liability for any damage or injury caused.
Medical Conditions: Passengers with medical conditions should check their suitability to fly prior to booking and advise our staff when booking. As the entire tour could last more than 4 hours, passengers are advised to carry any necessary medication with them. Persons with medical conditions participating in the balloon flight and pack up activities do so at their own risk and the Operator accepts no liability for any damage or injury caused.
Alcohol and Drugs: Passengers will not be allowed to fly if their judgement is impaired by alcohol, drugs, or prescription medicine or if their behavior bothers other passengers.
Carriage at Pilot’s Discretion: The pilot in charge of the balloon has absolute discretion in deciding whether a passenger will fly or not. Such decisions are made in the best interest of the safety of the passengers and crew and the Operator accepts no liability for any inconvenience or damage caused.

After the product is successfully booked, we will send you a confirmation voucher. We recommend that tourists purchase travel insurance. In the event of an unexpected situation without insurance, we will only assist in handling it.
If the booking is forcibly cancelled due to the reasons of the travel product supplier, we will refund the full amount corresponding to the booking without additional compensation.
No show: Ticket holders who 'no show' without prior cancellation or notification are not eligible for a refund.
We will try our best to assist tourists to communicate and negotiate solutions with tourism product suppliers.
For some marine products (including but not limited to various cruises, whale watching cruise, etc.), the supplier reserve the right to arrange alternative vessels or make changes to itineraries, service timetables, routes and/or destinations. The supplier may cancel or abandon the cruise if they consider it necessary for weather or safety reasons and except as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, we will not be liable for any loss or expense incurred by the Passenger caused by such substitution or cancellation.
When visiting attractions or participating in activities, please strictly adhere to the instructions provided by the venue or staff. Ensure you fully understand the associated risks (refer to venue announcements or the safety waiver required for signature for specific details), cooperate as required to implement appropriate safety precautions, and strictly refrain from engaging in any dangerous behaviors during the activity.
