Whilst rare, these changes may include aircraft type, jump time, group size, altitude reached and jump location. These changes do not constitute a claim for refund. We always endeavour to deliver the highest altitude we can.

Timing: All bookings are given a check-in time only. Please note this is not a jump time. A late arrival may result in delays to your jump time. Safety is our priority and factors such as wind, rain, cloud and turbulence and other factors such as air traffic can affect the time it takes for us to complete your skydive. We advise you to arrive with no time constraints and plan for this to be at least a half day’s activity.

No-shows: If you do not check in on the day of your booking and do not contact us in advance all payments will be forfeited. If extenuating factors exist, we may allow you to choose a new date. In this case a A$50 per person no-show fee will apply.

The minimum age to skydive in Australia is 16 years. For those under 18, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is mandatory.

For tandem skydiving in Australia, the maximum weight is 115 kg. This limit is set due to safety considerations, equipment constraints, and aircraft limitations. Please note there is a weight surcharge over 95kg.

Most individuals in good health can participate in tandem skydiving, including seniors over 80. The main requirements for tandem skydiving are: The ability to lift your legs for landing. Absence of severe health conditions. To ensure the safety of our staff and customers, we reserve the right to decline participation based on our assessment of age, weight, and health. If you have any concerns, please contact us in advance to avoid any disappointment on the day of your scheduled skydive.

Wear comfortable and flexible clothing suitable for the weather on the day. Keep in mind it will be cooler at higher altitudes.

If you wear glasses, don’t worry – we provide special oversized goggles to wear over your glasses.

Secure, enclosed footwear is essential. Sneakers or running shoes are perfect, flip-flops or thongs are not allowed during the skydive.

Don’t forget to empty your pockets before the jump!

How many people can go up in the same plane? That will depend on how many people are in your group. At most of the SKYONE dropzones we operate large turbine aircraft which are perfect for groups, however exact numbers on aircraft are affected by weights, how many want outside cameras, and other operational factors. The number of your group on the aircraft can vary from 2-3 people up to 5-6 people on average. We can advise you on the day who and how many will be on each plane load and we will do our best to accommodate group requests. If you have any special requirements please let us know at check-in.

Can I bring my own GoPro or action camera skydiving? Under the Australian Parachute Federation regulations, only licensed skydivers with more than 100 jumps are allowed to operate a camera while skydiving. This is for safety reasons, as wearing or operating a camera introduces a number of risk factors, like entanglement with the equipment or obstruction to operate handles and gear. Skydiving instructors receive specific training to address these potential safety issues. We offer optional video and photo packages at all our dropzones, to make sure you have the opportunity to capture the incredible experience of falling out of a plane. If you come with family or friends they can watch and film you boarding the plane and landing under a parachute.

How does the weather affect skydiving? Skydiving is weather dependent. The main factors affecting the safety or likelihood of a skydive taking place are winds, clouds and rain. Note: if we cannot jump due to weather restrictions we will re-schedule your skydive to another suitable date and time at no extra cost.

If we are not able to proceed with your skydive due to weather, you can choose an alternative date within 3 years of the original booking date, or you may receive a refund.

Australian Parachute Federation (APF): APF Membership is mandatory for all skydivers. The APF membership levy is included in the price of your skydive. You will find a link for APF registration in your confirmation e-mail, it must be completed prior to your arrival at the drop zone.

Personal Electronic Equipment: For the safety of all customers and in accordance with Australian Parachute Federation (APF) regulations, the use of all electronic devices, including personal camera and video equipment is not permitted on the aircraft or at any time during the jump.

Medical Conditions: Please consult your doctor about any medical conditions that could affect you safely completing a skydive. Please advise us prior to your jump of any medical conditions or other considerations that could affect your safety.

Alcohol and Drugs: No alcohol, ‘recreational’ drugs or medication that may affect your judgement are to be taken within 8 hours prior to your check in.

Restrictions for Scuba Diving: Due to medical restrictions, you must not scuba dive within 24 hours of your scheduled skydive check in time.
