If you are easily prone to seasickness we would recommend trying a herbal ginger tablet prior to boarding the cruise.

The Charles Darwin Dinner cruise is a buffet. We can cater to all dietary requirements or allergies if we are advised at the time of booking/prior to your cruise. While we do endeavour to accommodate the best for our buffet, we cannot guarantee completely allergen free dishes. This is due to potential trace allergens and cross contamination in the working environment and suppliers and we accept no liability. If you have a serious food allergy, please make your own decision when selecting your dishes to eat. Our crew are on hand to help you make an informed decision on which dish is best for your allergy.

We are committed to the responsible service of alcohol and reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol in accordance with liquor licensing laws and we may remove you as necessary.

Our cruises depart from Dock 3, located at the very end of Stokes Hill Wharf, City Side. You must check in at the nominated place on your booking confirmation at least 30 minutes prior to the time of boarding. We may refuse entry for late arrivals. Once the vessel has departed the wharf, late arrivals will not be accommodated, and the guests will be treated as a ‘no-show’.

If you wish to explore the outdoor decks, we recommend bringing a jacket as the weather can be cooler on the water. If it’s sunny, bring sunscreen and a hat and don’t forget your camera! Bring cash/card if you wish to purchase spirits onboard. Please also bring your ticket or booking confirmation with you.

Pram – please advise us when booking if you would like to bring a pram with you, or speak with our friendly crew when boarding for your cruise.

Parking on Stokes Hill Wharf is maximum of 3 hours. Given our boarding and embarking times we do not recommend guests park on the wharf, as fines are given if the 3 hours is exhausted. Our recommendation is to park over by the Darwin Convention Centre and walk the 400m across to Dock 3 for boarding.

The Charles Darwin contains a licensed bar and kitchen, therefore BYO alcohol and food are not permitted on our scheduled cruises. We accept, Visa or MasterCard (Amex is unavailable).

After the product is successfully booked, we will send you a confirmation voucher. The main information about the reservation and the precautions for participation will be provided on the confirmation voucher. Please read it. If you do not have any feedback, we consider that you have read and know all the information on its confirmation.

As an intermediary agency, we are only responsible for making travel product reservations for tourists.

We recommend that tourists purchase travel insurance. Tourist product suppliers such as tourist attractions, hotels and transportation companies will be directly responsible for the quality, service and safety of travel products. We are not responsible for any safety issues with the products ordered.

In the event of an unexpected situation without insurance, we will only assist in handling it.

If the booking is forcibly cancelled due to the reasons of the travel product supplier, we will refund the full amount corresponding to the booking without additional compensation.

No show: Ticket holders who 'no show' without prior cancellation or notification are not eligible for a refund.

We will try our best to assist tourists to communicate and negotiate solutions with tourism product suppliers.

For some marine products (including but not limited to various cruises, whale watching cruise, etc.), the supplier reserve the right to arrange alternative vessels or make changes to itineraries, service timetables, routes and/or destinations. The supplier may cancel or abandon the cruise if they consider it necessary for weather or safety reasons and except as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, we will not be liable for any loss or expense incurred by the Passenger caused by such substitution or cancellation.

When visiting attractions or participating in activities, please strictly adhere to the instructions provided by the venue or staff. Ensure you fully understand the associated risks (refer to venue announcements or the safety waiver required for signature for specific details), cooperate as required to implement appropriate safety precautions, and strictly refrain from engaging in any dangerous behaviors during the activity.
