– No third party on selling is permitted. Puffing Billy Railway products must be advertised at the retail rates provided by Puffing Billy Railway.
– The API to be used only to genuine, return travelling FITs. Max 6 pax per booking with all customer information including real name, unique contact email, numbers etc to be added to the booking when made. No reserving of seats until booking is confirmed.
– Booking confirmations must be provided on arrival with voucher requirements as attached.
The journey aboard Puffing Billy takes you through the magnificent Dandenong Ranges, located only one hour east of Melbourne.
With lush fern gullies brushing past and Mountain Ash trees towering overhead, Puffing Billy makes for a wonderful opportunity to relax and breathe in the fresh air whilst the train makes its way through the temperate rainforest.
Puffing Billy continues to run on its original mountain track from Belgrave to Gembrook in the magnificent Dandenong Ranges 40 kilometres east of Melbourne.
Address: Belgrave Station: 1 Old Monbulk Road, Belgrave VIC 3160. Please note, parking is not at Old Monbulk Road. Please take off at Gate 4, 1 Old Monbulk Road, this is only for pick up / drop off point, unable to parking or stop your vehicle for long time.

How to use
Please bring your electronic voucher and show the Confirmation Number at the Station redeem round-trip boarding pass.
You can board and seat in any carriage (except special carriage). In order to ensure that you can ride together with your companion, it is recommended to redeem the boarding pass at least 1hour before the departure from the tickets office.
Please pay attantion to your start station.

Good to know
Trains will NOT be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Passengers are required to retain their booking confirmation and/or tickets, as they may be asked to present them at any time during their travel.
Whilst every attempt is made to honour all bookings, Puffing Billy Railway reserves the right to alter events, timetables, or locomotives without prior notice.
Puffing Billy Railway reserves the right to request proof of age. Children 15 years and under must be supervised by an accompanying adult. An adult is deemed to be any person aged 16 years or older.
Puffing Billy Railway is a non-BYO venue.
On declared Fire Danger rating days of Extreme or Catastrophic in the Central Zone or the whole state of Victoria, no trains will operate, and no Puffing Billy Railway staff or volunteers will be on the premises.
On declared days of TOTAL FIRE BAN or other extreme weather events in the Central Zone or the whole state of Victoria, steam locomotives will not run. Instead, the train will be operated with a diesel locomotive.
Safety instructions: Do not hang legs outside of the carriage. Do not stand, walk or sit on the railway track. Do not leave the platform or step down on the track.Do not touch or climb onto the locomotive, as parts of it are hot.Stand behind the safety line marked on all platforms.Do not open carriage doors on the non-platform side of the train.Do not open carriage doors while the train is moving.Smoking is not permitted on the train, platforms or under any roofed areas.Alcohol is not permitted on trains (except as provided on dining cars).No drones allowed.
No cancellations, changes, or refunds are permitted once the booking is confirmed. This term apply to all bookings with travel dates from 27 June 2025 onwards.
Disclaimer
Once the product has been successfully booked, a confirmation voucher will be issued. The voucher contains important booking details and participation notes. Please read it carefully. If we do not receive any feedback from you, it will be deemed that you have read, understood and accepted all information stated on the voucher.
As an intermediary booking agent, we are responsible for arranging travel product reservations on behalf of customers.
We recommend that customers purchase travel insurance. Travel product suppliers, including attractions, hotels and transportation providers, are directly responsible for the quality, service and safety of the products they provide. We are not liable for safety issues arising from products operated by third-party suppliers.
In the event of an unexpected incident where no travel insurance coverage applies, we will provide reasonable assistance where possible; however, any related costs or losses will be borne by the customer.
If the booking is cancelled due to reasons attributable to the travel product supplier, we will refund the amount paid for the affected booking. No additional compensation will be provided.
No-show: Ticket holders who fail to attend without prior cancellation or notification will not be eligible for a refund.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in communicating and negotiating solutions with travel product suppliers.
When visiting attractions or participating in activities, please strictly follow all instructions provided by the venue and staff. Please ensure that you fully understand the associated risks, including any venue notices or safety waivers that may be required. Customers must cooperate with all safety requirements and must not engage in any dangerous behaviour during the activity.
