Opening Hours：
• The Cairns Aquarium opens at 9:30am and close 3:30pm (last admission 2:30pm) every day of the year for General Admission entry .
• For visitors booked on the Aquarium by Twilight tour, this starts at 3:00pm Monday through Saturday and the tour concludes at 5:15pm (For guests who booked the Dinner Tour, the opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday).
• For visitors booked on Night at the Aquarium tours, this starts at 6:00pm Monday through Saturday and the tour concludes at 7:30pm (For guests who booked the Dinner Tour, the opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday).
• For visitors booked on the turtle hospital tours: 11:15am or 12:15pm Daily (If there are any closed dates, no further notice will be given. The dates that can be set will prevail.).

Meet our rescued turtles, and learn all about the threats and dangers Australia’s six species of sea turtles face in a guided Turtle Hospital Tour.
The Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre, located at Cairns Aquarium, is a Not-for-Profit, volunteer run, charitable entity, caring for rescued sea turtles.
Guests are taken on an exclusive tour of the onsite Turtle Hospital to meet the sea turtles in our care.

As the sun goes down on the Great Barrier Reef, a whole new world awakens. Corals glow, colourful reef fish seek shelter and nocturnal predators begin their night hunt. At the same time, coastal forests stir with life, as reptiles amphibians and insects emerge from their burrows to seek out food in the safety of the shadows.
‘Night at the Aquarium’ guided tour gives you a glimpse into the unique world of the region’s nocturnal creatures and their behaviours as they move about it in the darkness. You have the option to complete the evening at restaurant with a perfectly matched 2 course dinner while you enjoy a stunning sea life backdrop.

Ages
Children aged 3-14 inclusive are eligible for child rates.
Children aged 0-2 are free. (Night tour + dinner package/Twiligh Tour+ dinner package free infants do not include meals, if you need meals, please book the child price).
No child or children aged 14 or under will be admitted to Cairns Aquarium unless they are accompanied and supervised by an adult (18 years or over).
How to use
Cairns Aquarium General Admission：On the day of tour, go to the attraction by yourself and present the electronic confirmation at the ticket office, redeem your ticket and enter the aquarium.
General Admission & Turtle Hospital Tour: After the booking is confirmed, we will send a confirmation to your email. On the day of travel, present the electronic voucher at the ticket office to enter the park. On the day of the trip, please arrive at the Turtle Hospital 15 minutes in advance according to the trip you selected when placing the order. Please arrange your trip reasonably and don't miss the turtle tour.
Cairns Aquarium – Aquarium by Twilight with 3 Course Dinner：After the booking is confirmed, we will send a confirmation to your email. On the day of travel, present the electronic voucher at the ticket office to enter the park. Guests need to check in at the front desk at 3:00pm or 3:15pm to select drinks and meals. If you do not choose dinner, please sign in before 3:00pm. (If you choose dinner, please check in according to the booking time).
Night at the Aquarium Tour：After the booking is confirmed, we will send a confirmation to your email. On the day of travel, present the electronic voucher at the ticket office to enter the park. 5:45 pm – Check -in Time 6:00 pm – Tour.

Good to know
Free WIFI is available in Aquarium, you may share what your find with your friends in time.
The aquarium has a ATM ,small locker rental, a restaurant and gift shop.
3 hour free on street parking is available close to the attraction, in addition to metered spaces with a drop off zone and disabled car parks near the main entrance. Public bus terminal is located one block away on Lake St.
For dinner, guest check in time is 3.45pm to choose drink & meals. Guided Tour 4.00pm – 6.00pm. Dinner 6.00pm – 7.30pm.
Turtle Hospital Tour: Please read below before you book tour.
NO Flash Photography and no touching the sea turtles, as this may harm their recovery.
Be mindful of your noise, do not make loud noises.
Please tread carefully in this area, do not run in this area. There may be water present on floor from sea turtles.
Do not remove or take any artefacts or items belonging to the Cairns Turtle, Rehabilitation Hospital or Cairns Aquarium from this area.
If you are bringing an infant on the tour, please be advised that we can’t have loud noises near sick or injured sea turtles in the hospital, so you may be asked to leave the hospital area in the event of loud noise.

Once the product has been successfully booked, a confirmation voucher will be issued. The voucher contains important booking details and participation notes. Please read it carefully. If we do not receive any feedback from you, it will be deemed that you have read, understood and accepted all information stated on the voucher.

In the event of an unexpected incident where no travel insurance coverage applies, we will provide reasonable assistance where possible; however, any related costs or losses will be borne by the customer.
If the booking is cancelled due to reasons attributable to the travel product supplier, we will refund the amount paid for the affected booking. No additional compensation will be provided.
No-show: Ticket holders who fail to attend without prior cancellation or notification will not be eligible for a refund.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in communicating and negotiating solutions with travel product suppliers.
