The Koala and River Cruise is a memorable RETURN journey on the Brisbane River to the oldest and largest Koala Sanctuary in the world. The cruise travels through the city’s most historic landscapes, iconic attractions, historical home sites and interesting wildlife habitats as you listen to an entertaining and informative commentary.
• You’ll board the MV Mirimar in Brisbane’s Southbank district, and leave the city behind on a relaxing cruise to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

• Arriving at Lone Pine, you will have 3 hours to explore the world’s largest Koala sanctuary, with more than 130 Koalas on site.

• Check out owls, kites and sea eagles soar above you at the popular Flight Raptor show.
• Feed the kangaroos and wallabies; more than 100 of them live in the 5-acre (2 hectare) reserve at Lone Pine.
• Along with koalas and kangaroos, Lone Pine hosts a sheepdog show where you see the hardworking dogs round up a herd of sheep, responding to their master’s whistles, calls and hand signals.
• Relaxing return journey on our ultra-modern cruise boat enjoying a glass of our Australian wine or beer (own expense)
You’ll board Mirimar II in Brisbane’s Southbank district where you’ll find the boat at the Cultural Centre Pontoon which is located on the boardwalk in front of the Queensland State Library. Boarding commences at 8:30 and departs at 9:00am – CHECK IN is required 15 minutes before departure. arriving at Lone Pine Sanctuary at 10.15am. The return trip to the city departs Lone Pine Jetty at 1:30 pm sharp arriving back at the Cultural Centre Pontoon at 2:45 pm.

Koala Holds Experience
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary will be ceasing koala holding from the 1st July 2024
Please note that there are 28 stairs to climb from the boat to the entry gates at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

How to use
After the booking is confirmed, we will send a voucher to your email. Please check the email and attachment. On the day of tour, please go to the meeting point by yourself and present the electronic voucher at the terminal ticket counter to check in.
Please be sure to go to board the boat first. You will be given a card when you board the boat. You can enter the zoo with this card, otherwise you will not be able to enter the zoo.
Please arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before scheduled time.
Good to know
The product includes return cruises , no hotel transfer service , the visitors should go the departure location by themselves.
The ticket should be used up on the same day.
The boat is accessible to wheelchairs however there are 28 stairs to climb from the boat to the entry gates at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
No-shows will be charged the full price.
