Overview
[Important NOTE]
Skydiving activities are greatly affected by the weather. Please refer to the following instructions carefully when booking.
1. If you choose the session by yourself, the skydiving company may adjust the time according to the order. Please reserve 4 hours of floating time before and after the session. If there are flights or other activities, please be sure to reserve sufficient time.
2. Please be sure to reserve one day and do not arrange other activities or flights that leave before 20:00 on the same day.
3. If you have an Australian number, please update it to the customer service in time.
4. Changes by SA to a Confirmed Skydive: To ensure the highest standards are maintained, SA reserves the right to reschedule or alter a tandem skydive with no prior notification. These changes do not constitute a claim for a refund and include changes to type of aircraft used, drop zone, check in time, jump time, number of participants in a plane, altitude reached, duration of free fall and location. Providing customers with a 100% safe and amazing experience is our number one focus.
5. Cancellations or Changes by SA due to Weather: If a skydive is cancelled due to weather, SA will endeavour to rebook the jump on a suitable alternative date or drop zone location before leaving the drop zone. If the location change is of a lesser retail amount SA will refund the difference, however if the new Skydive retail price is greater than $50 the guest must pay the difference. If the guest is changing to an experience of a higher booking value including upgrading to a higher jump height, changing to a weekend and public holiday, changing products, packages or skydive locations customers will need to pay the difference.
6. Please DO read the full terms and conditions before booking. Placing an order indicates your agreement to these terms: https://www.skydive.com.au/terms-conditions/
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Return transfer/Pick Up Time: The time above is the estimated pick up time from your pick up location, this is not your skydive ‘jump’ time.
Time Change: Your pick up time may vary due to operational changes. We will contact you the day prior to reconfirm your pick up time.
Duration: We recommend planning for this to be a whole day’s activity in case of unforeseen delays.
Overview
Skydive Noosa’s stunning coastline, where sparkling blue waters meet golden sandy shores. As you freefall, you’ll enjoy unparalleled views stretching up to K’Gari and Brisbane, Mount Coolum and Glass House Mountains. The best part? Skydive right onto the soft sands of Coolum Beach or at our riverside location. Our beach or riverside landings add an extraordinary touch to your skydiving experience, making it truly one-of-a-kind and Instagram-worthy.
F&Q
– Where are the landing areas located?
Beach: Stumers Creek, Coolum Beach North – Parking is as Stumers Creek dog off leash area. Or Riverside: Diddillibah – Parking is at Northern Grounds Sunshine Coast. The landing location for your skydive is confirmed on the day and is determined by prevailing weather conditions and wind direction to ensure safe operations.
– How long does the experience take?
The full experience typically takes 3-4 hours. While most jumps are completed within this timeframe, we recommend allowing the full day in your schedule in case of any weather-related or operational disruptions.
– Can we have spectators viewing the landing?
For our Beach landing area, spectators can park and walk to the creek entrance and watch the parachutes landing from outside of the coned off areas. Medical Conditions: Skydive Australia must be notified prior to the jump date of any pre-existing or existing medical conditions, injuries or illnesses. You will also be asked when you check in and may require an assessment from our Safety Officer. Medical conditions which could affect the customer’s safety should be discussed with a doctor to ensure customers are fit to skydive. If required, bring a medical certificate with you from your doctor confirming you are okay to participate in a skydive. Please advise SA if you are taking prescription medication. It is our obligation to inform you that if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, sinus or ear equalising issues on the day of your skydive, it may potentially lead to further health complications during or after your jump, and we urge you to proceed with caution.
Consumption of Alcohol or ‘Recreational’ Drugs: No alcohol or “recreational” drugs are to be consumed within 8 hours prior to the scheduled skydive jump time. For the safety of all customers and staff, SA reserves the right to refuse customers who are suspected of being intoxicated or having impaired judgment, and this does not constitute a claim for a refund.

Skydiving is subject to weather, so there is a high probability of cancellation. Please call 24 hours before to confirm whether you can go; but please understand that you may still arrive at the parachute site and be informed that you cannot complete your skydive activity due to weather conditions.
It is not recommended to participate in skydiving after various operations, plastic surgery or prosthesis. If in doubt, please consult professional medical personnel for advice.
What should I wear? We recommend loose, casual clothing such as active wear, jeans or tracksuit pants. You must wear fully enclosed shoes, such as running or sports trainers. Hiking boots and high heels are not appropriate. *PLEASE NOTE* Due to COVID-19 we currently cannot offer any shared clothing. Please ensure you bring your own fleece/jumper and long pants, if it's cold. If you're jumping in the colder months, we recommend wearing gloves and very warm clothes as it can get quite chilly at 15,000ft!
Can I wear my dentures? We recommend removing any loose items before your skydive, including dentures or false teeth. If you have any questions at all, please ask our friendly staff when you arrive at the drop zone.
Can I wear my prescription glasses or contact lenses while skydiving? YES! We have goggles that will fit over your glasses/contacts, leaving you to take in those EPIC views. However please let your instructor know if you are wearing contact lenses.
What if it is windy or raining on the day of my skydive? Don’t worry – if the weather is unfavourable on the day of your booking, we will reschedule your jump to another date that best suits you! We will make all weather decisions on the day of the skydive. We never recommend going off the forecast as this is never correct and you may end up cancelling out of a day that ends up being beautiful, missing your chance to jump on your preferred day. If there is heavy rain, strong wind or low thick cloud coverage we will cancel and reschedule the jumps if it does not clear. If it is partly cloudy or there are a few showers we can jump through or around this without it affecting the experience. If you've booked already expect to get a text message the day before to confirm if there are time changes. We make daily weather assessments, if we need to cancel or delay a jump we'll do it on the day and let you know. If you've not yet booked we recommend doing so, and if for whatever reason we need to cancel or postpone you can reschedule to another day within 12 months. If you are unable to re-book as you will be leaving the state or country you are eligible for a refund.
How many people can go up in the plane at once? The number of tandems we can take on a plane can vary depending on which location you choose and what is available, it can be anywhere from 5 – 9 tandems on one plane together. This can never be guaranteed as this also depends on instructor availability, however, we will do our best to get your group jumping together.
I have arrived for my skydive and I am feeling really nervous – what should I do? Being scared is all part of the experience! Once you arrive on the day and have gone through the training and met your instructors you feel much more at ease. If you are feeling a little nervous or scared, make sure to tell your instructor so they can help ease your nerves!
What happens if the parachute doesn’t open? On the very rare occasion that the parachute does not open completely or properly, your instructor will release that canopy and pull the reserve parachute.
Can I go skydiving if I am pregnant? Sorry, you’ll have to wait until bub is born before you can take to the skies. Skydiving is not safe if you are pregnant and we have a strict policy which does not allow anyone who is pregnant to skydive for your own safety.
Do I need insurance to go skydiving? Personal accident insurance is included in the cost of your skydive. This will cover you for up to $50,000 in medical cover.
I have a health and/or medical condition – can I go skydiving? It is important to inform us before booking if you have had any recent injuries or surgeries, restrictions on your physical ability or have any mobility issues at all. Please advise if you suffer from epilepsy or have any heart conditions. This may mean you cannot skydive. It is our obligation to inform you that if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms or blocked sinuses on the day of your skydive, it may potentially lead to further health complications during or after your jump. We urge you to proceed with caution.
I have a disability – can I go skydiving? We do our best to get everyone skydiving, however, safety comes first. Each disability is different and for this reason you will require a medical certificate from your doctor stating it is safe for you to skydive. Our chief instructor will then also assess you before skydiving, the final decision is up to them and if they do not think it is safe you will not be able to skydive. You are welcome to be assessed before arriving on the day however please ensure you call on 1300 811 039 to check if there is someone at the office who is able to do the assessment.
How many jumps do the instructors do in a day? It depends on the season, the day of the week and of course how many customers we have booked on that day. During summer, the instructors could be doing up to 11 jumps a day!
