Sydney Opera House Tour and Dine (English tour)

[NOTE] From Monday 3 August, Opera Bar will begin a short transition period while its kitchen undergoes renovations.

During this period, Tour & Dine guests redeeming at Opera Bar will receive the Harbour Kitchen Pizza Menu. Guests can continue to enjoy the harbour views, with food available to order from the Terrace Bar on the Lower Concourse. Midden by Mark Olive will continue operating as normal, with lunch service now from 11:30am and Tour & Dine redemptions available through to 5:00pm.

Accessibility or mobility needs must be advised and pre-booked in advance. Guests who have not advised their accessibility needs before the tour will not be able to join the Walking Tour. Guests unable to participate on the day are welcome to: Wait comfortably in our air-conditioned lounge with direct lift access, or Enjoy the surrounding precinct, including cafés such as Opera Bar or House Canteen, or browse the souvenir shops. Refund will not be offered to any guest who is unable to participate the tour due to mobility issue.

Please be aware that headsets are used on our tours. If you have sensitive hearing or any concerns about our equipment, please contact us.

The Sydney Opera House no longer requires patrons to show that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Face masks are strongly recommended for all patrons while inside our theatres and foyers, including during a performance and on a tour. Please bring your own mask.

It’s a great idea to arrive early, grab a drink and soak up the view. Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour to allow sufficient time to cloak all your bags and personal belongings. This should allow enough time for the mandatory visual inspections and/or cloaking of all bags and personal belongings by Opera House staff before starting your tour. Where possible, please leave bags at home. Please note we are unable to cloak bags larger than A4 size.

You will have the opportunity to visit some of the Opera House’s many venues and theatres on this tour. Please note that as we are a busy performing arts centre, venues and theatres are subject to availability at the time of your tour.

House Canteen and Opera Bar are both located at the water's edge, on the Lower Concourse level, overlooking Sydney Harbour.

This product is a set menu and the only dietary requirement that can be catered for is vegetarian

You’ll be on your feet for a guided tour, there are over 300 stairs, so flat comfortable shoes are recommended. Your feet will thank you!

After the product is successfully booked, we will send you a confirmation voucher. The main information about the reservation and the precautions for participation will be provided on the confirmation voucher. Please read it. If you do not have any feedback, we consider that you have read and know all the information on its confirmation.

As an intermediary agency, we are only responsible for making travel product reservations for tourists.

We recommend that tourists purchase travel insurance. Tourist product suppliers such as tourist attractions, hotels and transportation companies will be directly responsible for the quality, service and safety of travel products. We are not responsible for any safety issues with the products ordered.

In the event of an unexpected situation without insurance, we will only assist in handling it.

If the booking is forcibly cancelled due to the reasons of the travel product supplier, we will refund the full amount corresponding to the booking without additional compensation.

No show: Ticket holders who 'no show' without prior cancellation or notification are not eligible for a refund.

We will try our best to assist tourists to communicate and negotiate solutions with tourism product suppliers.

For some marine products (including but not limited to various cruises, whale watching cruise, etc.), the supplier reserve the right to arrange alternative vessels or make changes to itineraries, service timetables, routes and/or destinations. The supplier may cancel or abandon the cruise if they consider it necessary for weather or safety reasons and except as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, we will not be liable for any loss or expense incurred by the Passenger caused by such substitution or cancellation.

When visiting attractions or participating in activities, please strictly adhere to the instructions provided by the venue or staff. Ensure you fully understand the associated risks (refer to venue announcements or the safety waiver required for signature for specific details), cooperate as required to implement appropriate safety precautions, and strictly refrain from engaging in any dangerous behaviors during the activity.
