The Mamu Rainforest Skywalk is one of the oldest rainforests in the world. It has a swaying cantilever beam, the most environmentally friendly skywalk and a 37-meter-high observation deck overlooking the rainforest. A Chinese audio guide is provided to introduce the local Aboriginal history, rainforest ecological processes and the delicate relationship between rainforest and humans. It is a rainforest with history, life and soul. It is the Great Barrier Reef on land, the best choice for in-depth tours.
This newly built attraction features walkways and cantilevers that allow you to experience the rainforest from the forest floor to the canopy. When you are done exploring, climb the tower to enjoy the view.
*Strollers and wheelchairs are suitable for all trails (except the highest platform of the observation deck).
The observation tower can be accessed from the fourth ground rest shelter at the end of the forest trail (past the skywalk). From here, a short elevated walkway leads to the lower viewing platform of the tower. There are stairs at the top of the tower (not wheelchair accessible), 37 meters above the ground, with a magnificent view of the World Heritage landscape.
