Rottnest Island Ferry Service

Guests who are unable to provide hotel pick-up and drop-off must go to the pier for check-in procedures at least 30 minutes in advance.

It is recommended to bring a camera, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, bath towel, swimwear, cash or credit card.

The cruise time for the return trip from Rottnest Island is different in winter or summer, please refer to the final confirmation.

Adventure Rottnest Tour: NOT suitable for children under 4 years of age, expectant mothers, passengers with pre-existing injuries or confined to a wheelchair.

It is recommended that you arrive at the Information Centre to get a map of the island after arriving on the island, so that you can easily understand the scenery and related tourist information on the island.

The Thomson Bay and Geordie Bay rest areas on Rottnest Island do not have any water and food. Please bring your own water, lunch, sunscreen, towels, etc.

Bikes can be hired directly when making an online booking. A voucher will be issued, either over the counter or as an e-ticket printout. Your bike will then be loaded onto your ferry and taken across to the island with you. On the island, our crew will then exchange your voucher for your bike on the jetty. Simply ride away, then drop your bike back to your departing ferry.

All of our terminals have access to car parking, however, our Northport terminal is the only one with a secure parking lot. Walled and gated parking at Northport costs $12 a day, with regular patrols by the Fremantle Port Authority. Both B Shed and Barrack Street Jetty have access to council parking within a few minutes’ walk of the terminal, however parking availability, price and security vary significantly.

Once the product has been successfully booked, a confirmation voucher will be issued. The voucher contains important booking details and participation notes. Please read it carefully. If we do not receive any feedback from you, it will be deemed that you have read, understood and accepted all information stated on the voucher.

As an intermediary booking agent, we are responsible for arranging travel product reservations on behalf of customers.

We recommend that customers purchase travel insurance. Travel product suppliers, including attractions, hotels and transportation providers, are directly responsible for the quality, service and safety of the products they provide. We are not liable for safety issues arising from products operated by third-party suppliers.

In the event of an unexpected incident where no travel insurance coverage applies, we will provide reasonable assistance where possible; however, any related costs or losses will be borne by the customer.

If the booking is cancelled due to reasons attributable to the travel product supplier, we will refund the amount paid for the affected booking. No additional compensation will be provided.

No-show: Ticket holders who fail to attend without prior cancellation or notification will not be eligible for a refund.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in communicating and negotiating solutions with travel product suppliers.

When visiting attractions or participating in activities, please strictly follow all instructions provided by the venue and staff. Please ensure that you fully understand the associated risks, including any venue notices or safety waivers that may be required. Customers must cooperate with all safety requirements and must not engage in any dangerous behaviour during the activity.
