Overview
Discover the best of the Great Barrier Reef, visiting both Fitzroy Island and Green Island in one unforgettable day. Snorkel vibrant coral gardens, relax on golden beaches, and learn about this incredible natural wonder from our team of marine biologists. This seamless tour combines the natural beauty and laidback charm of Green Island with the rugged adventure and breathtaking beaches of Fitzroy Island.
Your journey begins at 8:30 am aboard Aquarius II as we cruise to Fitzroy Island, where you’ll enjoy 2.5 hours of island time. Your package includes snorkelling gear to use at both islands, or you can swap that for a glass bottom boat tour at either Fitzroy or Green Island. Feeling adventurous? Upgrade with a guided Snorkel Safari for an immersive reef encounter, or simply stroll along the white sandy shores.
At 11:45 am, we transfer you to Green Island with fascinating commentary along the way. On arrival, you’ll have 3.5 hours to unwind, explore, or join in more optional activities – such as the semi-submarine tour, another Snorkel Safari, or browsing the island’s shops and walking tracks. For lunch, pre-book a freshly packed boxed lunch or enjoy the popular Big Cat buffet on board.
Whether you’re marvelling at vibrant marine life, lazing on the beach, or soaking up expert island commentary, this two-island adventure is perfect for travellers short on time but eager for the full reef experience.
