Overview
Experience an incredible outer reef tour with us, where the Sunlover catamaran ties up alongside a docked pontoon in a peaceful lagoon surrounded with vibrant coral. Our marine biologists, dive instructors, qualified lifeguards and cruise attendants have only one goal: to share their passion for the Great Barrier Reef and ensure you make memories that will last a lifetime.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of Moore Reef with Sunlover’s Great Barrier Reef day trip.
Just 90 minutes from Cairns, our purpose-built outer reef pontoon gives you exclusive access to a calm natural lagoon surrounded by coral gardens, tropical fish, and friendly resident turtles and Maori wrasse. It’s a place where every visitor — from first-time snorkellers to seasoned divers — can experience the reef at their own pace.
Discover the Reef Your Way
Slip into crystal-clear water from our snorkel platforms, or choose to stay dry and explore through our semi-submarine and glass-bottom boat tours.
Step inside our underwater observatory, where colourful schools of fish drift by and our marine team hosts a relaxed fish feeding presentation.
Families and younger guests can enjoy the enclosed ocean pool or the thrill of Sunlover’s 30-metre spiral waterslide, swirling gently into the tropical ocean. A trained lifeguard watches from an elevated station, and both snorkel platforms have safe, easy stair access to the water.
Throughout the day, Calypso Reef Imagery is on board capturing candid moments both above and below the surface. Photos are ready before you return to Cairns — sent straight to your phone, so you can relive your day on the way home.
